SAP HCM Technical Consultant

SAP HCM Technical Consultants with software development experience using ABAP, ABAP OO or Java. SAP application development using SAP Portals, Visual Composer or the Composite Application Framework is preferred. The successful candidate must have experience in

  • understanding client business and technical requirements with the goal to provide quality software solutions;
  • helping create functional specifications to ensure a conceptual solution design approach consistent with client requirements. This may involve creating prototypes to enhance the understanding of customer requirements and demonstrate proof of concept.;
  • creating technical specifications to document how client requirements were realized;
  • delivering quality software solutions using the appropriate SAP technologies;
  • performing and documenting the results of unit and module integration tests;
  • creating technical and user documentation in accordance with client requirements;
  • identifying and managing project technical risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer related field or equivalent professional experience
  • understanding of software development methodologies and processes
  • advanced knowledge of an SAP application language such as ABAP, ABAP OO or Java
  • SAP Portal, Visual Composer or CAF development experience preferred
  • excellent organizational skills
  • demonstrated leadership and project technical management abilities
