Why all the elephants?
EPI-USE’s primary imperative is to go ‘Beyond Corporate Purpose’ in day-to-day activities. Rather than implementing a traditional corporate social responsibility program and simply donating funds to charities, with ‘Beyond Corporate Purpose’ we operate a professionalized, institutional non-profit delivery capability, the primary focus of which is the protection and conservation of Elephants and Rhinos in the wild, through an unusual strategy based on the economic upliftment of impoverished rural People in areas adjacent to the threatened species, or another definition of ‘ERP’, if you will.
To ensure successful engagement, EPI-USE channels one percent (1%) of revenues to projects in our not-for-profit zone. We have also employed a corporate social responsibility partner who manages the application of these funds and provides reporting.

He is passionate about sharing practical insights, real-world lessons learned, and innovative approaches that help organizations achieve lasting business outcomes.
Phil Best
Vice President of Sales | Americas EPI-USE Labs
Phil Best heads up the sales group for EPI-USE Labs in the Americas, with sales responsibility and oversight for direct and partner accounts in the US, Canada and Latin America. His 20 years of experience in both technical, service and product sales brings a broad and unique perspective to the changing enterprise marketplace.
Over the last ten years he has worked with and focused on helping enterprise SAP customers achieve optimization in areas ranging from Test Data Management, Security, Information Lifecycle Management and User Experience, and has been involved in some of EPI-USE Labs largest and complex customer engagements.
Ben van Zyl
Director of Technology Services | EPI-USE America
Ben is technical director and architect that specializes in leading development teams, designing scalable technical solutions, and bridging the gap between business needs and technology.
He has over 14 years of experience in managing technology, collaborating with clients, and overseeing business analysts to ensure seamless alignment between technical execution and business objectives.
Blake Haan
Associate Partner | SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect | EPI-USE America
Blake is an Associate Partner and SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect with EPI-USE.
He has over twenty years of SAP experience across most technical platforms and deep functional experience within the Public Sector space. Blake has lead the cutover of multiple SAP conversions to S/4HANA, including to RISE.
